Reflective Practice for Coaches
On-going Program
Reflecting on practice is fundamental to continued learning and effectiveness as a coach. The more experienced a coach becomes, the clearer the realisation that reflecting on practice is pivotal to advancing coaching practice.
Reflective Practice for Coaches is a structured and guided group process supporting coaches to continue their own professional learning through regular reflection sessions with like-minded colleagues. Groups are either coaching teams from within a school/college or formed when a number of individuals register for a program.
These sessions are active, deliberate and solutions-focused informing everyday actions and leading to developmental insight. Challenges and successes are explored within a safe and confidential learning environment of growth.
Who is this program suitable for?
Reflective Practice assumes knowledge and practice of coaching and is suitable for individual coaches and coach teams who are seeking:
- to continuously advance their coaching practice through engagement with other coaches
- to look at coaching from a broader perspective
- opportunities to debrief on current coaching practice
- to develop a habit of reflecting on practice through committing to scheduled sessions with others
Program Objectives
This program is designed to enable participants to:
- connect with colleagues committed to collaboratively exploring coaching
- gain differing perspectives from practicing coaches
- explore new ideas and ways of responding in coaching interactions
- acknowledge and affirm aspects of own practice
- gain ideas and support in managing coaching challenges
Program Structure
Led by experienced facilitators who have undertaken specialised professional learning,
Reflective Practice for Coaches creates communities of
practice with participants operating within agreed norms and protocols. After registering for this program either as individual coach or a group, you will
be contacted with next steps.
Individual Coaches
- 4 x 75 min sessions
- Sessions delivered through video conferencing

Coach Teams/In-house
- 4 x 75 min sessions
- Maximum 5 coaches, minimum 3
- Session times and frequency to be agreed with group
- Sessions delivered through video conferencing
Registering as an Individual Coach
To register as an Individual please click one of the following cohort dates noting that these dates are AEDT/AEST so please consider time zone/daylight savings when you make your choice.
Note: You must be available on all dates listed for your chosen cohort.
Note: After these cohorts are filled there will be no more cohorts for individual registrations till after June 2021. Group registrations will still be available.

Individual Coaches
AU$600.00 plus GST per person
This fee includes:
- 4 x 75 min sessions
- Sessions delivered through video conferencing
Coach Teams
AU$750.00 plus GST per session, per group
- 75 min sessions
- Maximum 5 coaches, minimum 3
- Session times and frequency to be agreed with group
- participants must be currently coaching others on a regular basis to ensure relevant coaching experience and hands-on contributions to sessions
- participants must have completed Coaching Accreditation Program or 2-day Introduction to Leadership Coaching
GCI Online Open Program Cancellation & Transfer Policy
By registering for any of our GCI Online Open Programs the following cancellation policy applies:
All cancellations or changes must be requested in writing or by email to
info@growthcoaching.com.au
If you are unable to attend the program you may transfer

•your registration to another nominated person or
•to another program. However, only one change is allowed and you must attend another program within six months of initial program.

The following transfer and cancellation fees apply:
•Cancellations or transfers greater than 3 weeks prior to the program attract no fees and the full program fee will be refunded.
•Cancellations or transfers less than 3 weeks prior to the program:
~ $50 plus GST transfer fee for rescheduling to another program or
~ $50 plus GST transfer fee for nominating another attendee or
~ 50% of the program fee plus GST for cancellation requests
•Cancellations or transfers less than 1 week prior to the program start date:
~ $100 plus GST transfer fee for rescheduling to another program or
~ $100 plus GST transfer fee for nominating another attendee or
~ Program fee is non-refundable for cancellation requests
By registering for this program, participants agree to commit to
all scheduled workshop dates for their chosen cohort. In the event that
a participant does not attend a scheduled workshop, the participant will forfeit their place with their current cohort and will have to restart the program.
To restart the program with a different cohort, the participant will be charged a transfer fee of $100 plus GST.
