Consultant Coach


Kay’s first career was as a Research Consultant. She set up one of the first market research companies in New Zealand and conducted the first New Zealand opinion poll. Transferring to the education sector as a member of staff of Massey University (Albany), Kay taught post graduate education papers, supervised theses and consulted to schools throughout NZ. Setting up the Education Group 10 years ago, with three partners, she works in schools as an advisor, facilitator, coach and trainer.

Kay has completed all the Growth Coaching International programmes, including the Masters programme and is involved in facilitating coaching training programmes for GC NZ. Kay’s particular interest is in the Peer Coaching programme, working with both teachers and students.

Kay has a BA (Sociology and Psychology) and postgraduate degrees in education. She is also a trained mediator, accredited coach and has advanced training in group dynamics. She has taught Research Methodology and practiced as a researcher in the business, education and social spheres.
